Disney Pumkin Carving Patterns

Who among you does not love Walt Disney cartoon characters? No responses? Well, that is exactly what I thought. Everyone, young and old, male and female, everyone loves Disney cartoon characters because they are full of adventure and fun and touch all of us emotionally and intellectually.

And since everyone loves Disney cartoon characters, why not make your next Halloween a Disney Halloween by carving Disney characters onto your pumpkin?

First of all you will need a pumpkin:

- Be sure your pumpkin is large because the larger the pumpkin the easier the carving.
- Be sure your pumpkin has a smooth blemish-free skin.
- Be sure your pumpkin is symmetrical.

You will then need Disney pumpkin carving patterns or stencils and pumpkin carving tools. You can find all that on any number of websites:

If you want to be really creative and have some spare time on your hands you can create your own stencil from a picture or a graphic of a Disney cartoon character. And this is how you would do that:

1. Find the picture or the graphic of your choice.
2. Scan it or copy it into a Microsoft Word document.
3. Size it to fit your pumpkin.
4. If the original picture or graphic is in color, format it to black and white.
5. Print it.
6. Cut out the portions that you would later be carving out of the pumpkin.
7. Hold it against a solid color other than the color of the paper you printed on.
8. Does it still look like what you intended? If not, print another copy and cut a little differently.
9. Once you are satisfied with the results, you have got yourself the Disney pumpkin carving pattern or stencil that you can use on your pumpkin.
